Progress Report

greenstormOkay. Good.
After a couple of hours of completely fruitless research on the internet looking for rent sites (it counts! Even if the ones I found sucked, it took effort to keep at it) I was about to give up. Posted to the vanpoly list looking for help (it's a good random sampling of people in the area) and got a really useful site from rainbowk, some interesting info on co-op housing from someone else (definitely something to look into in a couple of months), and some advice/help from a couple of other people.
So, I have a List of places to call, and a List of nurseries to research.
Next step: buy notebooks before I call anywhere and keep organised. Will go out to do that this afternoon. Will call stuff from rainbowk's site tonight if we're home early enough to see about setting up appointments -- to do this wisely I should look up the bctransit website and organise before I call.
So that feels like I've put a substantial amount of time into this, and if I get some calling done tonight I'll feel as if I've done something substantial as well.
