Muahahaha!
Feb. 5th, 2006 09:33 pmMy life rocks. This is not just the sunlight talking.
This morning I headed over to Juggler's place after futzing around on Otherspace for awhile. We got the first strip on the kayak-- it'll go together fast now. We had some, erm, quality time and then I headed off to meet Bevan.
Bevan and I walked around the seawall in the mostly-sun and hit the swings and visited the bamboo and talked until my throat swelled up (it hurts, dammit) and then met Graham for dinner. We all went for ice cream, and now I'm home.
I really love the people in my life. Really, really love them.
I'm like this enough that, even if this is the hormonal balancing mood for the earlier bitchiness, it's still me more than that is.
Anyhow, I am so, so happy, and so tired.
I've been painting my face more elaborately this weekend, largely because both boys like intricate designs (I tend to prefer simpler ones, but feel the need to prove that I can do this). The elaborate designs seem to draw more looks than the simpler ones, and today I went for something rather tribal. Today, too, I got comments-- four, three from strangers. All of them were positive. The first one came in the phraseology I was expecting-- "what culture is that from?"
Hah. Culture of one, baybee.
I wish I had camera to document all these designs. Otherwise, of course, they're permanently gone. Oh, well.
My legs are sore. I keep smiling.
Good night.

Date: 2006-02-07 03:22 am (UTC)Such pleasant days! I keep missing Vancouver, having tea at steepstea.com i the afternoons with Frector or whoever, and knowing that I could go anywhere.
Sure is a weird feeling to want to go back to a place, but to hate the idea of leaving where I am. I`m gonna get a regular job, I think, in a bar.
