Cliche, I know, but: change has to happen for progress. You need to leave things behind to go forward.

*nod* Sometimes you do need to leave the excess baggage behind in life, but I like to think that you can also "compress" some of the old memories into reasonable sized picture albums.

There's a lot of fluff that can be blown out, but I like to keep the key things. They don't take up too much space. As long as you don't build altars to them :-)
