Blowing My Brains Out
May. 1st, 2006 03:42 pmToday is one of those gorgeous, bright, sunny days where, if you try to stand upright downtown, you get blown over. Everything passes you horizontally, also being blown over, or blown away. The combination of the wind and my busy weekend and a very early morning mean that I'm just not there, mentally. I'll likely be a zombie until at least Friday, but-- the move is starting to be on my radar. Sure, it's two months away, but I don't have a whole lot of functional time in there-- the end of May and most of June are pretty much write-offs due to work and the permaculture course, so ...
Eh, maybe i just need something to stress about. I'm worried about Sweetie, she's losing weight. I need to get some baby formula or something and get her de-mited just to fatten her up and cover all my bases. She really is not happy. The babies, on the other hand, are very happy, and doing well.
Sigh. I was gonna sit down and write some stuff, but I have to breeze past my community garden and meet my brother to get my phone charger back (I left it there when we moved the boat last night, oops).
Long and short of what I was gonna write was: I'm kinda weird. My brain acts funny. I like things.

Date: 2006-05-02 04:46 am (UTC)Where do you find that stuff powdered? I found a different brand, but not Enfalac, in powdered soy. Sweetie ate some of it, especially from my fingers, but didn't lick the container clean-- I didn't put any medicine in it. I also watered it down and gave a bit to the babies, and they loved it. Cute babies. Poor Helen (who has enough weight on her and isn't growing) felt very left out. I felt very glad to see Sweetie lapping up those calories.
Tomorrow morning I try it with medication.
