/Moving Day

It's moved. Took about eight hours of borrowing friends overall. I'm sore but I feel good. Everyone thinks my brother is cool, which is both good and correct. Spent a wonderful morning with The Group. Am on that tentative knife-edge spot where everything is going wonderfully and I keep looking around to see where the unexpected icky bit will hit me from. It hasn't hit yet.

The new place is supposed to have bugs. They've been hiding from me lately, but other people claim they come out when they know I'm not there. So, you may not be in such a hurry. ;)

Bah, do you remember the ant days? I think that was when you first were visiting here....Once _locke and I were cuddling in bed, and he started convulsing in an unpleasant and heretoforunexplained way...one of the fuckers had joined us and bit him on the neck!!!! that was *too far*...Luckily, they are gone...Took an exterminator and many sessions of ant baits, and possibly my landlord ripping up some of the roof to get rid of the termites. (I hated the termites.)
So, no, I'm not *afraid* of bugs, but I do wish you good luck in ridding yourself of them...

Persephone has some good generic bug-death ideas involving (I think) icing sugar and wall-paper paste (which I think I have)...Hopefully your landlord will help...

Ask Persephone for details about her roach killing scheme, it sounded good and effective, and not involving really scary chemicals.

Cleaning the place seems to have been pretty effective. :/

I haven't seen any in there for the last two weeks. I don't think there are any left to kill.

I admit that I'm kind of disappointed.
