RAT BABIES (& the current menagerie)

greenstormFour boys, four girls, plus one runt who didn't make it till I got home from work. They are so ridiculously adorable. Pictures tomorrow, because I keep forgetting to take them when handling them today and I don't want to disturb the mommy again this evening. I'm already completely in love. You're supposed to pick up the babies a ocuple of times a day to start socialising them, and whether or not it's hooking the babies on human contact, it's sure hooking me on the babies.

Auntie Lightning says hi:
Auntie Sunday isn't too sure about any of this:
Auntie Bandita, cleverly disguised beneath her mask (her and Sunday are sisters, and also they are half-sisters to Lightning...
...and to the mommy Silver, who isn't big on pictures:

And Honeypie, the black blob, only visible after Rain is forcibly restrained from approaching the camera:

And Helen a year ago, she's the pink one. The others are no longer with me (but are Merlyn, Caramel, Small Rat, and Sweetie)
