Terribly Normal
Oct. 6th, 2003 10:18 amNormal ups, normal downs. A little bit happier/more comfortable overall. It's interesting like this.
This is traditionally a 'down' period, just because it's a couple of days before my depo-provera shot. The last ten days or so before that are usually pretty jumpy. They're tolerable atm, and that's a good sign.
Today we talk to the phone company and get internet and phone switched over. We also go back to the apartment and make it livable as opposed to the jumble of stuff it is currently. Then... we're here, moved in, with just the computers and a bit of other stuff left to bring back in the car.
The rain's come down and it's grey for the winter, back to being Vancouver as it's supposed to be.
My garden's installed at TOH here, the sensitive pots half-buried and the others placed around. Everything's watered, and too heavy to move again. It's so weird to see my stuff here, like insta-garden with everything familiar: the surroundings are TOH as they've always been, the plants are mine as they've always been, they're just all sharing the same space right now.
There will be some explosions as we explore time stuff with TOH, I'm pretty sure. The 'weekend here, week there' thing is no longer necessary, so we'll need to set new patterns. Difficulties anticipated are a lot less difficult, so I'm not too worried about any of that... I don't think.
Good stuff from the other morning is sticking. I'm glad. I really do love it when you hit that next level and suddenly see that stuff has been productive... until you start taking it for granted and working on the next. :)
Be well.
