My brain is back on after a long vacation. I got to talk permaculture with a random permaculture farmer who showed up in the mall today and asked me about the fishtail palms, we wandered in the subject of Earthbound Organics and organic standards and President's Choice Organics. It was awesome.
I didn't end up breaking up with Avi cause I realised that he wasn't only abstract boyfriend #3 who might make things logistically difficult, he was also Avi who I really love and who isn't, himself, a very difficult person to deal with. Juggler and I aren't together right now, but we remain friends and he still comes climbing. I still have the urge to go out with a baseball bat and seduce people at gunpoint, but I'll get over that. Damned escapism.
Permaculture and climbing are da fuckin bomb. I'm kicking climbing's ass. I climbed a 10b today, I got a bunch of the way up a 10d yesterday but had to stop at the overhang, I fell off a 10c, and I hurt. I'm excited about the permaculture thingy tomorrow (if I can get in) and I should look up the Spring Garden Forum (can't find it on VanDusen's website), Seedy Saturday (the 24th), etc.
Wanna talk to permaculture folks. Am trying to pursue them but they're all busy. I'll have to hunt Max down when he's not in workshops that I can't get into. Grr.
Also, should remember to look up the Practical Permie Weekend info.
Lots of hanging out, friends-y, and busy type stuff, but in a good exciting way.
I also bought books in preperation for being destroyed by multiple breakups, and now I'm merely nonfunctional sometimes and not destroyed, so I have books. Yay! Antarctica by Kim Stanley robinson, anyone?
