The ratties are all installed in the homes of people who don't have drywall dust everywhere and who will love them. This state of affairs will continue until the drywallers are done.
Ran around moving rats after work yesterday until 11ish, which is to say I'm pretty much not sick anymore. At least, I'm a little tired, but I'm not falling asleep at six or seven in the evenng.
I miss my ratties like crazy already- no morning visit to them! But I know they're being well-loved, so it's good socialisation for them, and it's good for them to get used to being moved. Sunday's going to Lizzy's to be bred on, um, Sunday-- Lizzy will raise the litter, cause my house isn't baby-compatible even if my boyos come back to me when the drywalling is done. Just so you remember what we're dealing with cuteness-wise, here's Paris winking at the camera:
I'll miss Sunday so so so so much. :( She'll be gone for nine weeks! Luckily Lizzy lives close to a skytrain station. I have the keys to Avi's place, and I can visit Eva after work pretty easily.
In other news, I may (likely) be moving to Kelowna for the summer to apprentice under a really cool permaculture dude and help permaculturize a currently-organic vinyard with some people I met at the permaculture course. How's that for super-exciting?
