Legitimacy as someone's girlfriend. You know, when they ask you to company parties, and to dinner with their parents, and that sort of thing? I remember wanting it really badly whenever poly relationships made me someone's dirty secret and I wonder how much of that I'm recreating for myself.

Or maybe I'm just still in a foul mood.

Hm, I had another friend post on this when she used her lover as an emergency contact along with her husband.

It's a tricky one at times, but these days I just don't give a fuck: I have a wife, I have a girlfriend, big deal.
