greenstorm...I'm a little tired of being on the cutting edge of feminism, or whatever you call a woman working in the trades. Just tired of worrying if I can cut it all the time, worried about starting a new job and not being good enough, tired of being annoyed by pictures of hairless rail-thin boob-job bikini-clad girls hung on the walls... and for that matter tired of living in a fast-food dispose-of-your-income booze-it-up live-fast-die-young environment when I'm at work. Tired.

Date: 2009-09-01 09:39 pm (UTC)The plant consists of a bunch of compressors and some purification equipment. Most days I come in, do a bit of maintenance work (cleaning filters and stuff), open some valves and start everything up. I connect and switch over the containers they use for transporting the hydrogen, do repairs if things break, sometimes do upgrades, keep the place clean and tidy and then shut everything down at the end of the day.
Neat! I was thinking of getting a tree tattoo myself, I want something different, but I found this in my search for images to work off of and I liked it for an icon.
