I slept till 9, woke up in a windstorm, dreaming of New York City where I have never been. Angus put on Two-Step (Celebrate we will, because life is short but sweet for certain. We climb on two by two to be sure these days continue; these things we cannot change) which is the best morning song; I only have maybe five hours of work to do today so there is no rush, only that frozen swimming sensation when you come up out of deep sleep.
Last night was so peaceful; I lost myself in gardening after work until it was time to go over and help the Writer paint. He fell asleep in my arms by the light of the streetlamp where it poured in through the window and then I walked home in the rain and my bed was waiting for me; though it was late I wasn't tired. Perhaps my circadian rhythms are acclimatising after all these years. I slept well and now here I am in front of the computer trying to capture this experience, which I cannot do.
I suppose that means there's nothing more to write. I leave you with this. I have posted it before and will again:
