... I wouldn't have though that last post would be so obscure. Oh, well.

Busy day today, my longest workday yet and pottery last night means that my hands are fried. Fried in the dry-skin sense and fried in that the muscles hurt. If this keeps up I'll soon have as much meat on my hands as the Juggler does.

Quiet evening, I think. Quiet day tomorrow, perhaps. Parade in Chinatown on Sunday, since it turns out that I didn't miss it after all. Looking forward to that. Need to round up sone friends to come with me, or rather, I'd like to.

Now to cook dinner. Care.

Ooh.. Parade.. Unfortunately, I can't get out there on Sunday..

And, in a way, it was obscure.. But, I think I understood it..

Hey, you're doing pottery? What kind? I love that and have wanted to learn it for years - there are so many cool things you can make! Some day i will take a course, but it's metalworking i'm learning now (big stuff like sculptures, bed frames, and of course manacles, etc . . .)

I'd go with you on Sunday (with permission from my Master first though, of course :P) but we're celebrating Robbie Burns Day that day. Haggis and deep fried Mars Bars, mmmmm.

This is just a general introductory course, but after that I'm gonna focus on the wheel, again. *sigh* Such a hard skill to master, so much fun, so time consuming. :)

Deep fried Mars Bars? Oh, my.

The metalworking sounds like a lot of fun, but expensive for me right now. Gotta stick to gardening and pottery. :)

the wheel *visions of Demi Moore? and Patrick Swazie* in that ghost movie (i forget the name) - i loved that movie. I would love to learn to throw pottery. :) Where are you taking the course?

Yeah, metalworking is so cool - plasma torches, sparks flying - Ooooo! But yeah, it's very expensive, and i really can't afford it, but i've wanted to learn metalworking (blacksmithing, tinsmithing, whatever) for so long, i just bit the bullet.

But gardening and pottery is tres cool, so i'd go with that. Done any gardening lately? I have had so many plans for fancy formal herb gardens, a maze, etc. *sigh* I want to do so many things, my head just spins and i don't do anything - lol

I've never seen that movie. The Juggler says that it was a big date movie back when I was six, and there would be something strange in seeing it with me. :> I've been researching.

Mel Brooks did a knockoff scene in one of his movies though, didn't he?

I've done a little gardening -- the weather's been keeping me indoors, but I have some things to get in the ground already, just lettuce and radishes and peas and such. Started the hot peppers indoors, with tomatoes to follow in a few weeks.

Need to take the shrubs out of the front lawn before I think about landscaping, rather than just veggie gardening.
