In the mornings, just after the sun comes up and until 8:30 or 9, the sky is a perfectly clear blue. After that it may get cloudy or rainy and probably will, but if you wake up early enough you can see the clear sky.

I find that I'm missing roleplaying. I took a leave of absence from Otherspace; there was just too much I felt like I should be doing and nothing enjoyable anymore. I've been roleplaying for the last six or seven years of my life depending on your definition, not even so much on and off as on and more on.

It's gardening time as well, and morning is the time to garden. I think I'll need to sleep over at TOH to do that properly, to wake up and go outside into the beginning of the daytime and turn the soil. It needs to be done soon. I have been putting it off because other stuff has seemed more immediate.

There is little more to say there except that the SO and I have some time together, alone, that we have not had in some time. It's rather strange, bringing back echoes of the past and echoes of strangers at the same time. He's changed a lot since I knew him well, I think, and I've forgotten some of him -- but some of him will always be the same.

The Juggler said at one point he thought my relationship with the SO was that of people who had chosen each other, long ago, and with that decision made we've changed a lot and we aren't reconsidering it. That may or may not be true, but there's some irony in that still. The SO and I are not married, and have made no stated longterm commitments. I don't think we ever will. I don't think we need to, especially at this point.

I say this particularly because the SO's father and his girlfriend are getting married. They've been dating for as long as we have, or perhaps just a little less time. That's an interesting thing to think about.

I'll have gone to both of his parents weddings.

The sky is still mostly clear with ruffled puffs of cloud streaking across it. I think I'll go back to bed for a little while and read next to the SO, or nap a bit.
