Garden Begun
Feb. 1st, 2004 08:05 pmSome seeds in the ground: onion, peas, swiss chard, lettuce, carrots. Yeah, it's a litle early for some of that stuff, but hey... everything's coming up out there. Don't want the food crops to be late. :)
Peonies, daylilies, roses, mint, tulips, blueberries just a little, more roses, and chives are all opening leafbuds.
Let's hope we don't get another March snow, hm?
Got a bunch of EQ playing in too, today. Oddly enough, back when i had the option to just destroy chars and relevel them it wasn't a big deal, but now that I have my own account and have to redo them all it's taking forever to level them :(
Visited with mom and the brothers this evening. Need to get to sleep now; long day tomorrow (and then nothing until Friday, yay!).
During the week I need to do some more gardening, root-prune the fig tree and repot it, possibly stick some roses in the ground, do a bit more pruning back...
Hate to put the roses in without people here to okay it or not though. It really isn't my property in a title sense.
Anyhow, to bed with me. Be well.

Re:
Date: 2004-02-03 01:54 am (UTC)I was thinking I could plant the back in roses, and then when you guys remove the trees (before june) the pumpkins and watermelons can go in the front, in the full sun, climbing the front of the house if they like, where the ex-trees are no longer. ;)
I should really get a bunch of old manure or compost before I stick those roses in, no matter how much we put in last year, though. So I should wait until the VanDusen manure sale or something.
