greenstormOn the other hand, it would be a mistake not to listen to the anger that I'm suddenly feeling this afternoon. It was a good long time coming, but anger has now taken its place in my arsenal of useful brain tools.
Anger tells me when something's wrong, usually when I have been busy being super accommodating for everyone. Anger tells me to stop and ask what I... want, which is usually actually what I need.
And I have been super accommodating on a bunch of fronts now. Some of the recent times I've asked for what I need it's been disregarded or swept aside or, my real nemesis, put off for some really quite future time. Other folks' concerns have come first.
So I need to hold my anger tight here, use it as fuel to drive me forward to get those needs met and to drive me away from folks who aren't meeting my needs.
