Into the earth
Sep. 11th, 2019 07:42 amFall. Every season is comprised of so many sub-seasons, of so many unique and individual patterns.
It's been raining for awhile. It's a coastal rain, the kind that feels like it's settled in for days. Sometimes no water is falling from the sky but the air is still wet and the clouds still blanket the sky.
Wet fall to end a wet summer.
I need to get my wood pulled inside.
I need to clean my chimney and spend time canning things.
I've ordered several dozen african violet leaves, just as I did when I started at school for the first time, a defiance against having to move and a beginning of life to get me through winter.
It seems like I'll have to be at camp a bunch next week for work, so I have a lot to get done before I head down south at the end of the month.
Bear and baby piglet post to follow.
