...from the SCA event. Subcultures always surprise me in that the people involved always look so normal; both the SCA and the jointhesaga pictures of people on my MUSH are just... people. It's sad how many potentially attractive males open their mouths and talk, though. I think I should learn to top just so I can gag them, sometimes.
I think I'll end up going to another sometime -- it was fun. It isn't part of my identity, or anything, just a social event that's... well, not a bunch of people dressing up in pop culture garb and going to a pop culture bar and listening to pop culture music and whatever. The people aren't necessarily different, it just doesn't set of the same triggers in me that 'clubbing' does.
The filking/singing at the bardic fire was very cool. Some of those people are pretty talented entertainers.
