Bikes and Dreams

greenstormYesterday I picked a bunch of tomatoes and took them over to Mom's, where we turned them into tabouli and salsa. I left that stuff with her, cause she liked it a lot.
This weekend there should be more of the same.
We also went out to get (cue Gollum) my birthday present-- a pretty customised, used-but-good hybrid bike. Yay! They're still assembling the bits, like the high handlebars and my chosen gearshifter, so I won't get it till the 20th. Alas.
The place (www.pedalpower.org) is pretty cool. I'm now suddenly interested in bike-mechanicing. That may be my next volunteer thingy. :)
I also had some really sucky dreams. They're also pretty clearly classic anxiety dreams -- I've invited Mouse and the Juggler out for a movie, just to sort of reestablish some sort of normal civil interaction on neutral territory. So my dreams are about Mouse, mostly, and bad situations involving her.
*sigh*
At least I'm caught up on my sleep.
