My friends list is growing fast enough that I'm beginning to need to go the 'last twenty' to keep an eye on comments. The latest victim? Lazarus7, whi I met when I as feeling antisocial and pretty much ignored. He, uh, linked to something funny on the internet (they still make funny things out there, I guess) and then said my name. In retaliation for his talking to me when I wasn't looking I hereby bestow a tacky colour scheme upon him. Really tacky. Don't look if you can't suck it back.

I need a good book. I wonder how much of this is simply me suffering from too much Spider-Robinson-on-his-platform short stories?

Is excessive hormonal fantasy a good thing?

very little is good when taken to excess. Things which are excessive, have by definition gone beyond levels with are good, reasonable or acceptable.

However, if you are asking is plentiful hormonal fantasy a good thing, then I would respond yes. Fantasy can be a good thing when it does not replace reality but rather accentuates reality by either allowing for escapism from problems, or exploration of the unknown. Fantasy can often allow for lines of thought that do not occur normally. This thinking can be used to create positive change in non-fantasy situations.
