Date: 2006-05-18 04:38 pm (UTC)I think smoking is terrible and I don't like drinking either, but I don't think "You are a menstruating female" should be the reason not to do do things, ever. I guess, if you went with what that article is saying, it would be OK for a 10 year old girl who hasn't started menstruating to smoke, but terrible for a 25 year old to have a glass of wine.
This is so Handmaid's Tale.
