I wanted to title this post 'lifesaver'. There's a song that's been going through my head: your drug is a heartbreaker/my love is a lifetaker. Today at work was busy-- Seven hours without a break, much of that with a line and everyone there working as full-out as we possibly could. At one point one of the chefs went home, but before he went he gave us a roll of lifesavers each. That thought of his was the fumes I was running on for the next three hours.

So, current work: absolutely draining. You who know me: I'm going to bed with one meal under my belt (lunch) and two doughnuts as dinner cause I'm too tired to even think of moving to get anything else.

Tomorrow: going to do a landscaping job, which kind of scares me. Gotta run around finding tools, I'm working independently for the next two days on a big property, for Rising Sun. Hope it all comes back to me after three months away. Hope it's sunny. Shifting gears, alright.

Today, yesterday, the day previous: some rough stuff on the relationship front. It's harder on me than it has been. I care about this one more.

No time to look outside today. Is that a day wasted?

At least I stopped bleeding yesterday.

The only thing I've had a problem finding is poached egg flower (Limnanthes douglasii/Meadowfoam...), which is supposed to attract hoverflies and be otherwise beneficial, self-seeding, soil-building etc. If you happen to see some seeds, I'd appreciate you grabbing some for me :) My chard is generic rainbow stuff, which I plan to use in among my perennials, and I thought you also listed Tyee spinach? Either way, perhaps it would be easiest for me to have my seed 'library' open for your inspection when I see you next? We can make little envelopes out of paper for you. Added bonus of commiting to the weekend of soil toil? There should still be plenty of time to start tomatoes and peppers then.

Yay spring!
