More like sleet. Wet, obscuring, doesn't seem to stick. It's chilly. I want my chimney fixed. Still, it held off pretty late this year.

the sandhill cranes are back, cracking the early morning sky with their dinosaur cries, and the morning requires a light jacket. we're a month away from first frost here, likely.
